To install your SSL certificate, please follow the steps shown below:
Please note: To install SSL Certificates on Lotus Domino Web Server you will need to ensure that the certificate files are merged into the same KeyRing that was used to generate the CSR. If you don’t have this KeyRing, you must have a new certificate issues with a new CSR from a new KeyRing. You will need to install the certificates to the KeyRing in this exact order:
Part 1: Download the Root and Intermediate Certificates
First, download the appropriate Root Certificate and save it in a text editor with the title root.cer:
Next, download the appropriate Intermediate Certificate(s) and save it in a text editor as intermediate.cer:
Please note: You will need to save the EV Bundle as evbundle.pem.
Part 2: Install the Root Certificate (GS_Root.crt)
Open Domino Server Certificate Administration (CERTSRV.NSF). This is in the System Databases in the administration panel of Notes.
Select to Install Trusted Root Certificate into Key Ring. Next, enter the file name of the key ring that was made when you created your CSR and then install the Trusted Root Certificate (TrustedRoot.crt). If you get a notification stating that the root certificate is already installed as a trusted root, then continue to step 3.
Part 3: Install the Intermediate Certificate (GS_intermediate.crt)
Select to Install Trusted Root Certificate into Key Ring again. Next, enter the file name of the key ring and then install the Intermediate Certificate.
Part 4: Install the SSL Certificate (yourdomainname.crt)
Select to Install Certificate into Key Ring and then enter the file name of the Key Ring. Next, install your Primary Certificate (your_domain_name.crt) using the Merge Certificate into Key Ring button.
Your SSL Certificate is now successfully installed to your Key Ring and it is ready for use on your Lotus Domino Server.
